Courses for professionals

Your further training with the APW course system

We are a network of professionals and relatives in Europe who are committed to supporting those affected (people with a perceptual disorder). Some of the professionals have also undergone training as teachers themselves and are therefore authorized to conduct APW-recognized courses. Decades of combining research, theory and practice have led to this model maturing into a practical and efficient form of treatment for those affected. We find areas of application in neurological centers, in remedial and special educational support centers/schools, in outpatient occupational therapy and speech therapy as well as in the area of housing and day structure/employment.

Further training

The APW supervises the APW-approved courses on the Affolter Model®. Courses offered at various venues can be found in the course overview.

Quality assurance

We issue regulations to ensure the quality of the Affolter Model® courses. This includes course content (e.g. curricula for APW-recognized courses) and aspects of teacher qualifications

Network

We network through regional and intervision group meetings and the organization of information events. Members benefit from reduced prices or free offers.
