TAU - autism-specific family education®
Do you often feel that being the parent of a child with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is particularly challenging? Does your everyday family life occasionally go haywire? Do you perhaps feel left alone in your situation? Are you looking for specific help that cannot be provided by a single therapeutic model or educational approach? Then you've come to the right place.
A course for parents of children with autism
The APW would like to support you in the challenges of your everyday life with a special offer. The course is aimed at parents of a child with an autism spectrum disorder and offers you a form of further training that is tailored to your particular family situation. Based on various therapeutic and support approaches, we work together to develop concrete help for everyday family life. We also maintain a Close cooperation with selected organizations.
In the course of the parenting course, the focus is on the individual situation of each family. Together with you, the course leader plans alternative action and communication strategies that you as a family can adopt in your everyday life. A practice week serves as a training ground and for mutual exchange between the families. The transfer to your everyday life is accompanied by voluntary attendance of a follow-up course.
